In 2001, Marguerite Malwitz and artist friend, Ann Kim, collaborated on a two woman exhibition and lecture series at the Jin Heung Gallery in Seoul. Ann, a Korean-American, also acted as translator throughout the week.

Marguerite's research project, BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH THE VISUAL ARTS, was of great interest to the artists. After the lecture the audience took a closer look at the portfolios featuring the international artists.

This was the first exhibit of POSTCARDS FROM KUNMING, inspired by Marguerite's China trip. At left fabric pieces were hung with photo inspiration and postcard graphics in English, Chinese, and Korean. Other fabric work was displayed on table.
